The Psalmists encourage us time and time again to remember who God is and what he has done for us, especially in the midst of despair and disappointment. Remember when you were first saved? The love and the passion that burned in your heart. When in the dark places, hold on to those early memories and declare to the Lord that you still want the flame of His love to burn again your life.

At times like this we realise worship is so much more than just singing. We catch a glimpse of our eternal future as we join in the unending hymns of praise. If only we would open our spiritual eyes to the power of worship and the majesty of God. This song is a celebration, a declaration and an encouragement to look beyond what we see and hear on earth.
Straight from my Heart This song is simple outpouring of love to God, a longing to bring something “straight from my heart”. It seeks to bypass the words and complex melodies that so often get in the way and to open up out hearts to express our love and devotion to the Lord.

For those new to DavidBuckleyMusic, Released 7 is a compilation CD produced by dBStudios (no relation) featuring songs from unsigned artists. My track “Jesus, Lead us On" was chosen for professional recording late last year. This song was written around the theme of “momentum”, specifically looking at the life of Jesus. It also examines the momentum of our own lives, and our response to His call. The chorus declares “Jesus lead us on” as we step forward in faith to follow Him.
